Facilitated a community clean up with 165 people involved over 4 days
Young and old arrived to register for the clean up. After picking up bags and gloves they went off to their designated areas.
Picking up garbage along Saskatchewan Avenue and Sturgeon Road was a daunting task. I was proud to be able to display the results of this community effort.
Participants enjoyed free hotdogs and a drink after their hard work. Thanks to local organizations like the Scouts, Guides and church youth groups for their participation.
