Minister of Science, Technology, Energy & Mines
Since the fall of 2006, Jim Rondeau has held the position of Minister of Science, Technology, Energy and Mines with responsibilities for Green Manitoba. Jim's efforts include further development of wind, hydrogen, ethanol, and biodiesel, as fuels of the future. Expansion of energy conservation, geothermal heat pump usage, and environmental initiatives are other important priorities. Expansion of environmental industries, technology companies, new media and life science companies are a focal point of Jim's current efforts.

A bus running on hydrogen was available for the public to view and ride. The only emission was a puddle of pure water. This is great technology for our future.
